Pregnancy and parenting journeys are filled with decisions, choices and challenges: of course, you want to do the right thing - for your baby, for yourself & for your family - but finding out what that is can be a minefield.

A Power Hour gives you totally unbiased & independent time, space and structure to unpick the problem and find the path you’re happy with.

How can a doula power hour help?

Put simply, it’ll help you to tackle the doubts, the questions and the challenges. But perhaps not in the way you’d expect…

As a doula, I never ever tell my clients what to do. That’s not my job. What I am an expert at, whether its in the pregnancy, birth or postnatal space, is giving the information, time and sounding board structures my clients need to work through the challenges they face and figure out a plan that works for them.

  • No ‘must’s

  • No ‘need to-do’s

  • No judgement

Not everyone wants the months of open access to this that doula support provides, which is why a power hour exists.

A power hour gives you 60-minutes of my time, energy and knowledge that’ll help you to navigate whatever issue you’re currently facing in a way that works for you.

What can I use a Power Hour for?

How you use your 60-minute online meeting is totally dependent on how you want my help, and how you want to feel at the end of it…

… but these are just examples. All of my Power Hours are guided and shaped by the people who book them.

While I won’t write a plan for you, give you medical advice or tell you what (not) to do, but I’ll give you the tools and time to tackle the issue, and space to work a plan of action out for yourself. whatever the issue.

Book your Power Hour

I’ll fit your Power Hour into my ever-shifting-diary at a time that works for us both. Simply fill in this form and click ‘send’ to request your Power Hour slot.

  • Each ‘Power Hour’ is £25 and is payable in full at the point of booking.

    Please see the FAQ on rescheduling & cancelling for details on this.

  • My doula diary changes every week, but the following timeslots are usually available for Power Hours:

    • Weekday evenings: 8pm onwards

    • Weekend evenings: 8pm onwards

    • Wednesdays: midday - 2.30pm

    • Friday afternoons: 1pm to 6pm

    All Power Hours need to be booked with at least 24 hours notice.

  • I aim to respond to all Power Hour requests within 24 hours, either accepting your preferred time slot or suggesting an alternative.

    At this stage your booking is ‘pencilled into’ my diary.

    Your booking is confirmed once payment has been received, and you will get an email detailing the time & date of your Power Hour.

  • Your acceptance email will contain payment details: once I receive payment, your booking is firmed up and you’ll receive an email confirming your Power Hour appointment.

  • Your Power Hour appointment is not confirmed until you have paid (you’ll receive notification of this).

    This means that you can cancel any appointment before payment without charge or hassle.

    Once you have paid and your slot is confirmed, please note:

    • Power Hours can be rescheduled to another date or time without additional charge.

    • Cancellations made before 48-hours of our appointment will receive a 75% refund.

    • Cancellations made within 48-hours of our appointment will receive a 50% refund
