“If a doula were a drug, it’d be unethical not to use it” John Kennell
I am a doula because I had a doula: I have felt, seen and heard first hand just how powerful it is to have someone by your side who is not only 100% on your team, but sees and understands labour, birth and the postnatal period as something other than a medical event. Believe me when I say that birth works better with a doula by your side.
For me, your journey from person to parent is a physical, emotional, mental and logistical transition that is nothing short of incredible. It can be hard, but it should never be a struggle.
My collection of doula support options allow you to get the support you need, at a price point to suit your budget.

Nope! While a midwife focuses on physical health of the mother or gestational parent, and baby, a doula is more holistic and less medical. I support you emotionally, logistically and mentally. I walk alongside, rather than guide, you through birth to help you find calm, confidence and control in your labour, birth and postnatal journey.

Doulas are scientifically proven to improve birth outcomes, but every doula does this in their own way. My passion is supporting people with the emotional side of their birth & postnatal journey. Be it fear, anxiety, restlessness, sadness and all that lies between, I am so passionate about helping people to have a positive birth experience using my wealth of experience and skills.
